Josh Meloy is an American country singer-songwriter hailing from Oklahoma, deeply influenced by the Red Dirt country rock scene. He released his debut album in 2018, showcasing his gritty vocals, reflective lyrics, and minimalist acoustic sound.
Growing up in Oklahoma, Meloy was surrounded by music, but it wasn’t until college that he began exploring it himself by picking up a guitar.
In 2020, he released his album Oklahoma, recorded and produced at home, which he considers his most honest work to date.
Meloy draws inspiration from legends like Hank Williams, Jr., Chris Stapleton, Waylon Jennings, and Whiskey Myers. His grandfather, who gifted him his first guitar and sang country and gospel music, also plays a significant role in his musical journey.
